Find your true Istrian escape in a forest retreat away from all the stress and crowds at Villa Prisedi. This well-maintained property is situated in absolute solitude, in the middle of the woods. Picture yourself swimming in a private pool with only your closest ones around. The pool is not the only fun feature of the house. For the young and the young at heart, there is a swing in the garden, a dartboard, and a table tennis area. And of course, a barbecue, because what kind of vacation would it be otherwise? Four comfortable bedrooms provide accommodation for seven to a maximum of eight people in this spacious house. The downstairs layout is designed for socializing and includes an equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a living room. Although this is a private area, the surroundings of Villa Prisedi have much to offer, and the good thing is that everything is quite close to the villa. The seaside is less than one kilometer away; there is a possibility of renting a boat, visiting a diving center, going to an adrenaline park, or riding horses at a nearby ranch. You’re also just a short drive away from several attractive towns that offer interesting events throughout the year and have many restaurants and taverns with good food, drinks, and service.
Rakalj, a small town situated at the southeast Istrian coast, is just the right place for a peaceful countryside vacation. It stands out amongst other Istrian rural resorts as it lies next to an uncrowded sea shore, more than 15 kilometers long. Rakalj is distinctive by its traditional occupations: famous potters, sailors and fishermen came from this town. This is also the place of birth of a praised Croatian writer and scientist Mijo Mirković, also known by the alias Mate Balota. In the old Rakalj, placed on a hill almost one hundred meters high, you can find medieval castle ruins and an amazing 15th century Church of St. Agnes where various high-level cultural and musical events take place throughout the year.
